Didn't he meant dont on pourrait tirer des apparences qu'ils sont...., that's what I got really but I ain't an expert as I often don't get the same than everybody else, never mind still don't have anything as to why the security level of alert wasn't at maximum after the second shooting, for some reason as far as I know it hasn't been asked.

I don't think so the critics of operationals come as a distraction in french politics. Exclusively designed to protect the politicians in charge. I don't know if you remember a wilde fire in south eastern france quite destructive, very rapidly, near by was a kind of base and an army unit came under fire for irresponsible criminal firearms training in very dry weather. Followed, deadful accusations from politicians and the officer in charge was taken into custody. Later, days later the officer was released without charge and much later, when everybody focus on something else, the cause of the wild fire was discovered, it had nothing to do with the offeicer or army unit incriminated. The Press didn't investigate the politicans accusations and that officer had a pretty bad time with very little or no protest but politicians were off the hook.
This time around it looks pretty much the same. Critics and debate of operational personnel job on the suspect home assault plays as a distraction. If you can't be held responsible for everything happening on your watch and if too early to declare the security policies the actual french president engaged in for the past five years a complete failure, they should be at least questioned thoroughly.
A lot more disturbing is why it took three shooting to see the security elevated to a meaningful level with at last security forces investing in numbers the region. Has politics played a role and have policians in charge deliberately put lives on the line after the second shooting which saw two french soldiers executed in the city of Montauban. After the second shooting, according to the Press and statements, authorities ignored the scale of the attack, the number of shooters and possible location and if multiple attacks in other cities were in the pipeline, still they won't make any security move on a big scale despite the suspect fleeing the scene screaming "Allah Akbar" leaving very few options on who they were dealing with.
Was the third shooting avoidable if the french "ecarlate security level" had been in effect is now to haunt candidate Sarkosy's bid for re election as well as many leading politicians incredibly silent. The attempt to hide behind "national unity" or operationals performance or lack of, is frankly pitiful.
The very uncomfortable feeling (I admit partially inspired by the horrible Treard...it is friendly) that the possible benefit the french national front could have made of a bold and large security move with security forces pourring all over the cities after the second shooting may have prevented it to happen allowing the third. Could these victims be today alive  if security had not been part of the french political wrangling?

What's yours for the week.

No idea. Translated Democracy is all about appearances. Is the French Press free? If the answer is yes then it satisfies the democratic standards. The trustworthy relation credibility between the Press and the People which characterises Democracy doesn't belong to their understanding of the democratic standards.
Know what I mean?
We know the gov can fail the People for all kinds of reasons running from hiding failures to re election motivated policies and our understanding of the Democracy leads us to rely on the Press to be the accurate witness and ready strong whistleblower alerting the People it must step in. Every time the Press gets ahead of itself and undermine the trust the People invested to satisfy a political bias, a ill inspired understanding of the People mindset or an overplayed risk of ill reactions, it scores higher against Democracy than the terrorist act itself.
Do better you have time gave u my pick, it saves u the afternoon.
OK mine is CKE.
I agree gov officials are not off the hook as of to why they didn't hold a press conference following the second shooting with the key information for public safety, suspect screaming "Allah Akbar" on scene leading to very few options and why there was no action regarding security level until the third shooting to step up security boldly. It is legitimate to say that the lack of reaction following the key information about the type of terrorist act carried on the second shooting should have lead to a wide and bold security move not to mention the need for an investigation of as to why the Press may have played a more distraction role politically biased rather than focus on public safety and interest.
If too soon to assert that the release of the suspect's screams on crime spot was enough to prevent the shooting at the school, it cast a doubt and question the officials choice and question further the Press silence had they know.

Have none so far. It just looks strange that nobody heard the radical islamic shooter screaming "Allah Akbar" when leaving the second crime scene since the bloody french press had a lady witness they have interviewed several times about the shooter's eyes as well as several witness working in shops near by. They always behave like suspects but do u think they could be twisted enough to deliberately mislead people on a public safety issue. It just looks so terrrible, they could have saved lives.

Alright, m gone now.
How do I know. He wrote a bit earlier it might have been that Breivik had the Norway citizenship but was of french descent with his name being that his french parents had nordic ancestry. Thought, dam didn't think of that, it might be right, would explain it all, u know he has been so much in the french news, I mean. Anyway, we ain't gonna find out tonight don't think, did u get any about witnesses that should have heard the shooter fleeing the first crime scene screaming "Allah Akbar" the press didn't find or didn't report.
Well, if it is the case, it isn't just mindset that triggered the misses... It is important to find out, cause since Fort Hood, mindset and politial correctness came under fire for playing a role in the misses but here it looks different, a policy to withhold a key information for public safety is something different, it is criminal. My opinion.
No, he mentioned that speaking of the shots security officials watched from the camcorder police found in the premises.
According to the sort of General Attorney for the french south western region giving now a press conference, the radical islamic shooter left the scene of the first shooting (2 French Muslim soldiers killed) screaming "Allah Akbar" and if refering to the french press as well as authorities, no witness heard that and it went unreported, can u check, allowing all sorts of distractions to go on, (at some point I wondered if i had missed something and if whether or not Breivik was french, always thought the guy was from Norway) anyway it played a role in the fact that no security was stepped up aroung the usual radical islamic targets and prevented the public to focus appropriately
Am a bit lower this morning but ok, U.

mercredi 21 mars 2012

It remains to be seen how at what time of the day and where he knew he would find his victims at the cash dispenser with no surveillance material on the targets.
Don't know, surrender isn't in the play book, may be interested in midday news for a final show.
Well, very strange indeed....for a day of dignity(that was to be yesterday).... to jump from a hot "hallal meat" french debate, controversial yes, but the consumer is tricked which was to attract controversies, to a possible motivation or incitement for a terrible rampage under the pretense of indicating where may have been sold some of the corrupted labeled meat packages, I must say I am absolutely stunned. Frankly.
If it was to be confirmed, common sense leads to the conclusion it won't, that the "hallal" topic of consumer tricking has played a role in the decision to carry several terrorist acts, anyone supporting the idea that it is ok to trick the consumer whatever the motive may be as well as anyone supporting the idea that it is ok to disrespect the European Parliament legislative resolution of 16 june 2010 - Provision of Food information to Consumers, will have under the full extent of the law to explain what are the exact circumstances under which a legislation does not have any effect and does not need to be considered.
No doubt, the Rule of Law academics were missing that bit.
I am impressed.
When is confirmed the shooter's identity very predictable, I am under the sentiment that some officials as well as those who were in the denial better hide and shut up.

lundi 19 mars 2012

I suggest to leave it there for now as it is just speculation, they don't know. They have been mentioning a lot the Norway guy but targets were different, he targeted a political party and had prepared explanations for his actions and political motivation, yet nothing here and the victims in the first shooting may have been picked for being traitors after serving in Afghanistan. So....
It is attractive for political motives to head to right extremism but very dangerous next targets can be any gov institutions, a school with lots of kids, any church office time or shopping center would prove gov totally powerless and look stupid.
The Washington sniper John Allen Muhammed in the US managed to go on for three weeks but his targets were random so it probably doesn't fit anymore than Breivik does.
If they can't crash planes they will crash something else he wrote months ago now and to start buses but ... it didn't materialise so far. They haven't release anything yet about the driver.
Ok. Unless I get something making it clear. We still halt the race on March 31st?
Don't know, Portugal to make a come back in the headline Pimco says.
Not much. But more of the same, a french lawyer interviewed mentioned that for the past few days several jewish kids in various occasions were victims of severe aggressions on their way in or out of school and elsewhere with the perpetrators clearly identified by police and being active islamic extremists.
Shocking but to say the least, he strongly declared that nobody was interested in the press until this morning. Of course, this silence not the first of its kind allow more aggressions to take place as potential victims can't anticipate, step up security and change their routine.
Don't know yet. Despite these extreme circumstances, still playing politics and hiding key information to the public raising the prospects of more casualties. Just the facts, the second shooter knew he wasn't to expect any security on the way in and out or in the premises. Political motives behing press coverage with repeated statements mentioning the Norway shooter. Security to remain on low level it appears in streets. Next expected target, a christian symbol but which?
What do u have?
Did u get anything more precise for the swiss crash bus?
Don't know yet. But since they were warned they have done nothing, kept security on low levels and probably be in the denial as usual which lead to a new no excuse catastrophe. Uncle Sam soon to have to step in I guess.
They are irresponsible. Let u know a little bit later.

samedi 17 mars 2012

No kidding ur time? OK later then.
Haven't yet; It does make sense but there are too many missing bits of the puzzle for now. Have to wait they release more what they will do when it is gone from the headlines and fear of backlash eases I guess.
Ok. U lead by one.
Well, difficult to evaluate but given the numbers, of course France is home to the french army but clearly times have changed and, if regretable, it is impossible to ignore that a significant part of today's french population would support a taliban style political stand if not regime when assessing risks to plan security for military base, personnel and their families. Military facilities home to troops engaged in a foreign war should be under maximum security and personnel briefed. If it had been the case, whatever the ongoing investigation in the shooting will uncover, the shooter would have been shot down by the escort or prevented to act.

vendredi 16 mars 2012

Well, it is surely interesting to have some lounge conversation about mental health BUT..., THE FACTS are, the appalling lack of security around the french military premises home to units engaged in Afghanistan associated to the lack of clear security guidelines to the military personnel and their families as well as in base housing have produced some crystal clear results, 3 dead may be a fourth and counting. So you know what, politicians should shut up and get to their job.
Have u tried on the simulator for the trajectory.
Not yet, but the videos of the site and the dual carriageway layout, light right turn which explains why the escape parking lane was on the right, a miss trajectory of a vehicule pushing to the left side of the highway leads to very few options. Both the speed and the vehicule weigh if unattended for any reason could explain a straight forward trajectory crashing on the left side of the tunnel. For the bus to be driven on the lay-by can hardly been unvoluntarily given the lanes and lay-by layout. Have a look at the area on Google street view.

jeudi 15 mars 2012

I don't know yet but the french had a terrorist attack in a southern west city Montauban home to a parachutist regiment engaged in Afghanistan with 2 casualties confirmed and a possible third (casualties are soldiers of the regiment in town for a bank withdrawal at a cash dispenser). French press doesn't elaborate much for political motives I guess, presidential run on, but more surprisingly the gov is passive, since at least 24 hours they have been warned of imminent multiple islamic attacks all over europe. That's all i have for now.
Has the french gov voluntarily withheld the information that should have been and has been as far as I know passed on to them following emails sent to the toptour company in Belgium that did cost already 2 may be 3 lives and if confirmed more may be coming. Playing politics is alright as long as you don't expose populations to terrorists on the loose..... to satisfy an ideology of death and hatred of the small nations.

lundi 12 mars 2012

Alright. No problem.
Well no idea. BUT, my sentiment is I don't see them being lured once more by a french politician. They have been tricked, lured and lied to, too many times and some may say that it is about time but, they have now clearly a good idea of the consequences for their territories and their interests as a nation as well as their individual rights of the french policies regarding the Corsican, Euskadi, Breizh languages, Cultures and economic interests (not limited to...). No matter what, I see the divisive tactics the french so far used, good and bad Corsicans, left and right....successful and not so succesful and more of that kind of crap have run their course. It is difficult to evaluate precisely is this election will be the lauch of we want a deal for our nation and territory or if it will take another mandate but it is definitly on the cards. My sentiment is they can now fully evaluate the negativeness of the french policies for their interests. The divisive tactics the french state used have worked and prevented an earlier built response but things have started to change. The cynisism with which the french politicians have used distractions such as.... know what I mean... have successfully the various attempts to organise political responses, now their crazy spending on the back of those nations and the crisis that follows leaves them short. Their competence are now radically questioned and the easier access to international medias(National Minority Status, Language, Culture and Economic interests elsewhere in Europe) have achieved to convince a large number that the french state is engaged in hateful policies towards them when comparing with let's make it short Wales or Scotland but many others are now benefitting from the European rules.
Didn't we say first pit stop is March 31st... I mean hey
