The idea is to have the EU Celtic languages and nations on the same foot.
My idea of it fits that :

The principal aim of the Brezhoneg Language Commissioner, an independent body established by the Brezhoneg Language (Breizh) Measure, is to promote and facilitate use of the Brezhoneg language. This will entail raising awareness of the official status of the Brezhoneg language in Breizh and by imposing standards on organizations.  This, in turn, will lead to the establishment of rights for Brezhoneg speakers.
Two principles will underpin the Commissioner’s work:
  • In Breizh, the Brezhoneg language should be treated no less favourably than the French language
  • Persons in Breizh should be able to live their lives through the medium of the Brezhoneg language if they choose to do so
How do I know, I don't, it has struck everybody else in the EU except the french politicians so.... here is the link for the website u mentioned http://www.npld.eu/. And because it is you here u go, u gonna love that "In the past, work was done to continue with previous work on encyclopedic content, such as Lur Lur Hiztegi Entziklopedikoa and Entziklopedia Tematikoa. But the Basque Government has decided to load original and adapted content in Basque Wikipedia onto Wikipedia."
That will answer the doubt that followed the in danger warning issued for several languages in the digital age and the web usage overall rating. Smile.
Cute!
running now?
We r all test trying Thunder 1.
You should have told me even if you had got it.
Just did.
It should because the project is very attractive and has the support of Scotland PM which is guarantee for the future.
It is not a perfect world but what you have is decency in the north... and reasonable policies towards undesired consequences of passed mistakes still making victims today. France isn't the only country in the EU that has had a troubled passed with conquests and wars with little enclaves and smaller nations. It is the only one today refusing to face its historic responsability towards these communities and still engaged in policies denying rights, use of language, culture celebrations.
Not sure about that, it is about more how their speeches are built. Just take that, their have, had an overwhelming employment problem for years should say decades.... They have no problem surviving that, they'd be sacked elsewhere and they run with it daring sometimes pretending people don't want to get up early which would make anybody laugh.... :-)) but u know journalists don't ask tough questions and they keep playing the same tune over and over again....
At the same time u know as long as the press plays the game....
And, for the EU Charter it is the same, you go all over Europe right now, people are civilised they have understood the need, the undeniable legit character of native nations to access their languages and culture, support creation, what do they do, same old tune again and again and they get away with it...
The french politicans are like that... don't know exactly their motives if you exclude direct fiancial and personal situations and lack control over their spending....
Well because they know the day you speak your native language you think native.
No, I meant Spanish tv in Castillan.
You watch some tv program that followed the Diada and you will be amazed... the gross jokes and arguments (offensive or not under humor.... you know) about the Catalan language are the very same you can hear in France about the Nation's languages to justify the exclusive use of french.
It is about domination and that makes it unacceptable. If you are interested you can start by doing that, do you understand spanish?
How do I know, everybody else in Europe has made progress.
NorthConnect but don't have Vattenfall AB numbers.
Why?

Catalunya - Healthy demonstration of pride

Diada 2012, no doubt will be looked at as a major milestone and is specially healthy at a time of hardship. The self esteem the Catalans have demonstrated on that day is especially valuable for the future, the trust in a better future it inspired will definitly help them overcome today's difficulties while the courage and resilience it takes to protect a culture and its rights from a powerful state are just the right engines to power a sound economy.
There is a lot of anger among the small nations in Europe and to see it expressed through renewed self esteem and demonstration of pride to be honest pleases me. Much more than the ugly attempt from a French centre right leader to foil it under a race banner under the pretense to have in common to be confronted by poor speech. The move is absolutely outrageous from a would be leader. A mong the french small nations, there is a lot of sadness, bitterness, frustration and anger. Often deprived of their language, songs, the words, the music to express the pain for the loss lacks. Sometime, identify the cause of that anger is difficult. So to see an educated man with all the background needed to understand that, ready to try to foil that anger under a race banner to win an election isn't just outrageous, it is wrong and deny an essential duty of politics which is to enlight with words the dark feelings, not just win elections.
Not to mention that some french politicians did just that some 70 years ago.

From the desire to be free to actually be free, are the Catatalans beyond the inflexion point?

Have the Catalans overcome the fear that comes with the status of independence? Are they beyond that very special moment where the self confidence in a beloved nation and land leads the hope and trust in a better future whatever the lows may be on the way? History suggests that when these questions are answered and they are as soon as they are dared to be asked, very little can be done to stop what is after all the secret desire of all nations, set me free. The shots u don't want to miss.

Spain is Pain - Visca CATALUNYA - What you have missed of an extraordinary stand of the united people of Catalunya for their rights this september the 11th

Quick roundup of the demonstration :

I was sure u'd say that. Honestly, the french are criminals but have been smarter, under the pretense of building "national champions" for international competition and success, the very same that have today to explain the need to outsource to lower cost foreign economies, they have ruined their small nations economies making sure no local barons organisation was ever in a situation to make available a potential independant economy. If you have got the time, check out the history of these nations banks, u'll see how they methodically destroyed the community banks networks, then the banks and insurance companies making sure no financial institutions able to finance any form of autonomy would remain in local hands. All controls standing in Paris.... This politically inspired down sizing and handling of these local economies have had and have today some terrible consequences on employment, GDP, staff know how and readiness. Nonetheless, they don't mind admiring in speeches whether the UK or Germany for their great network of small and medium sized companies while never mentioning the long time established strong communities economies and financing that give birth to these companies in a stable and reliable environment.
Well, Catalunya has more than earned and paid for its way out. It is not that there are no arguments on the other side but why should Catalans be alienated like that? They are known to be a generous nation and I don't think they would just turn their back on their neighbors should they be in trouble but it has turned into a permanent mandatory funding of questionable spending and handling of public finances in various part of Spain and that is also true for Galiza and Euskal Herria to a lesser extent. This is my understanding of the situation.
It is terrible, not just there was some killing again on 9/11 anniversary but it spoilt the Catalunya People making history day.
Don't think much of it since regularly that kind of arguments show up but frankly it is part of french politics.... Since EITB is around it is much better, at least the folks down there have something to watch, for all the others......
No but it changes all the time.... so there is no clear indication of who are the french whites so u have to guess and guessing leads me to conclude that are excluded non white, the Nations (Corsica, Euskal Herria, Breizh and others that are identified through the EU Charter for National Minorities - understand people that have french documents since their land is occupied and under french ruling against their will and is a result of wars and conquests), so that leaves whites that are of immigrant descent.
No. Target of all that kind of stuff is a distraction part of the fight against Europe and the Charter for Minority Rights understand the Nations that have been mistreated and are terribly hurt such as Catalans, Euskal Herria Corsicans and many more, France being as far as I know the last country in Europe denying them special programs and policies to safeguard their intesrests , language, culture.
Because I don't know for sure who they r talking about. First of all u never have to mention it on documents and it changes all the time to fit their policies so "french white" I guess it is Sarky's kind, white of immigrant descent. But told you I ain't sure....
Can't tell u for sure. It is revolting anyway.

No podran res davant d'un poble unit, alegre i combatiu says the People of Catalunya on that very special day also marked by a tragic event,

which didn't allow to celebrate it throughout Europe and give it the deserved attention wishing the great People of Catalunya all the success it has earned through decades of a generous contribution of over 5% of its GDP hardly ever justified.

Diada was this year absolutely stunning

very little has been shown throughout Europe of the awakening of a great and generous nation who likes success and has a great culture and history of entrepreneurship.
A MUST VIEW!

Good night.
He was on about the toss up states but I don't know if he has this guide of London, I was myself surprised to be honest you know, coming out from the Diamonds exhibition at Buckingham Palace (a Jubilee Celebration), u can buy souvenirs and among the wide choice of items, there are books and I was looking for  something about the history of the building and found it, guess what, there is a very good photo in it of W and Mrs Bush with the Queen and I wondered if this history book of Buckingham Palace can be found at the Presidential Center on SMU campus. Of course I can resist saying I bought it because that is the only guide that has a President Bush photo. Don't have to tell you success is immediate.
NO but I saw Karl two days ago I guess why?

Wrangling with the Freedom of speech has been is and will be endless as long as it lives. It sounds obvious but will we be discussing what it is if we hadn't the controversies born under it and learning from these sometime unwanted controversies it gave birth to to grow our knowledge?
Considering Freedom of speech a vector to acquire knowledge,  once agreed freedom of speech can't be a cover up for saying anything disgusting crossing one's mind, would a predefined freedom of speech clearing in advance controversies, a brake on learning?
Explain.
Following what you know of The Bill of Rights, would you say the Founding Fathers wanted it to serve the purpose of government easing the relations between the citizens and the government or to be a box of tools for the citizens to escape the permanent temptation of government efficiency at the expense of the citizen's rights to dissent, oppose, organise and defend?
Explain.
Well, still, u can't randomly shoot from your rooftop.
The relative first Amend freedom of speech is just as relative as the detention of fire arms is relative under the second Amend. (that's what crossed my mind after what you reported in ur post)
That's what the Supreme Court has said for the past two hundred years and it fits my understanding.
Home work :
T Jefferson once said about the Bill of Rights, "Half a loaf is better than no bread at all". Would you say that yourself about the Bill of Rights? Whether it is a yes or a no explain.

At last... I was about to reach the conclusion that no tv broadcaster would mention the call for murders of another religious group.... Thank you.

:-)) declassified on the spot.
I have put up a few links that motivated the french satyric paper to publish a new row of cartoons aimed at mock the extremist organisations active in the french politics on the left (This wednesday was the nearest date for the newspaper to publish its views about the incident that took place last saturday at a traditional french left gathering taking place every year - it used to be more of a blue collar workers celebration with a lot of distractions such as concerts and fun for kids than pure politics, recent years have shown decline and have eased radical and extremist insider job - note first time they have been successful at getting the cancelling of a speaker for her opinions)

(the victim do not support US policies generally speaking) That said, it is an internal french affair may be a french left internal affair, nonetheless, the organisations responsible for the incident deserve some attention.
Victim's blog : http://carolinefourest.wordpress.com/
It should not be a surprise to see the newspaper publishing the cartoons react as Miss Fourest shares with the newspaper team common values and views on religion.

Not positive yet but Charlies Hebdo's timing has little to none to do with the movie in the internet but connected to french internal affairs with a searcher and journalist C. Fourest (check the name) bared from speaking at a meeting of the french left after she was accused of islamophobia following remarks she eventually made about green fascism.

Have things changed since PBS boradcasted Salman reading

"rules, rules, rules,....... it was as if no aspect of human existence was to be left unregulated, free. The revelation, the recitation told.... how deeply they should sleep and which sexual positions had received divine sanction.... and earmarked the parts of the body that could not be scratched no matter how unbrearably they might hitch.... What makes it enjoyable if not the delightful taste of sacrilege and the definive triumph of the First Amend? unstopable proof liberty feeds progress and culture?

What controversy?

This is a recommended view for all those thinking that most EU govs (excluding far northern countries)do use again and again, abusively, the notion of "solidarity" to hide their absolute incompetence to solve the economic woes and engage into agressive policies to sort out the unemployment moving the debate from the fiscal and regulatory red tapes blocking the private sector jobs growth to opposing the folks over less or more solidarity taking on the way the political profit of misportraiting anyone pointing fingers at their inabilities to solve the problems.

Legal motives
Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) source said BTRC on Monday requested the Youtube authority to stop playing of the internet video.
Hours after India''s request, the US-based Google blocked 11 URLs of YouTube links having footages of controversial anti-Islam film that led to protests in Libya, Egypt, Yemen and other countries.
MEA says, "Google India has, in compliance with Indian law, blocked access to the offensive material."
No doubt about the success and A. Khamenei comments are probably soon to produce another row.... types of comments florishing all over below, Iran is going to track down and kill an American citizen for making a movie? Sick sick sick muslims. I could not be happier about this film being made, hopefully many many more will be made insulting isSLIME. Forget about the stupid video. The shia terror entity must be destroyed. The servile west needs to wake up and realise that their very lives are threatened by muslim fanatics. islam is a supremacist religion. islam wants to control the entire world. The shia and the sunni who despise each other, agree that islam is the only true religion. No amount of appeasement will change the supremacist ideology of islam.

Do you know if the french state is taking the case to Court, calls for murders of another religious group made publicly?
As far as I know, they have declared they would lauch an investigation but there isn't much to investigate, pretty obvious.
Paris on saturday,

The air cooling temperature of the car was set too low, next time, turn it off and drive with open windows, ur glasses will be alright, it won't steam up.
In other words I never heard of anybody in America or elsewhere having a problem with the fact Muslims cherish their prophet and want to honor his memory BUT as soon as the debate slips from spiritual to politics, whoever invoke a prophet's words or writings to make his or her point has also to accept the prophet loses his sacred character and will therefore be punched and kicked because that's what is going on in the political arena. It is not pretty, it hursts, prophet or not if you can't stand the heat don't stay in the kitchen. Now, the maths. A trailer on the internet of a movie most people haven't seen have been used to justify violent demonstrations and threats of all kinds but what jump to my eyes is that it is ok to demonstrate violently against a trailer on the internet but I haven't seen one protest against the murder in the name of Islam (probably worse) of  a US Ambassador and security officers that had absolutely nothing to do with the trailer and the movie. So if the goal of the protests is to prove Pastor Terry jones and other groups advocating Islam is a violent ideology I can say it is an outstanding success through what I am given to hear and read.

This is what makes it difficult, while First Amend offers no protection to make a statement containing claims, expressly stated or implied to be factual,  that may give an individual, business, product, group, government, religion, or nation a negative or inferior image (defamation), it protects the right for any individual, group or organisation to vilify and libel its views of an ideology, religion, government for the political and legal implications it advocates. It is the case for sharia law that belongs to the public and political debate.
Wrong... Do your homework, First Amend offers no protection whatsoever for defamation.
Photos and some websites suggest that Ambassador Chris Stevens was lynched or his body exibited, not what the Press says so far? What do u have?

Has the sartorius document cost anything I wonder.... The very same document says the company's strategy understand peugeot has not been international enough but questions the closing of a french production unit instead of the only spanish production unit the company has letting the reader guessing that among the policies the company should engage in to increase the markets spectrum it can reach it may be good to give up the spanish market and related south american related markets for a start....

The sixth fleet is now cruising the biscayne bay to guarantee a free vote and the meeting that took place a couple of weeks ago had been terrible. A delegation from Congress was to meet french officials in the embassy and I still wonder why it truned sour so fast. As the french delegation entered the room Sen McCain stood up and invited them to sit down but they refused stating they deep disagreement over any vote restricted to the Euskadi's nation. It shocked the Senator as everyone else in the room (so pathetic and swelling hatred towards the Euskaldi culture, language and rights to their Land)and to be honest I expected their refusal to lead to some tough remarks from the head of the delegation but instead Sen McCain smiled and he added "Well, you guys may be right, you'd better stand to listen to what we have to tell you" After a brief recall of the circumstances, the Senator stood up again, pointing his finger and raising his voice ".... You want to play hard ball, that is fine with me little jerks, hundreds of mavricks are locked on your asses, do something stupid, cross Iparralde north border for any reasons with your security forces before the vote takes place and you will be turned into torch, do you get me,..." The French couldn't stand it any more and tried to leave, head of security was watching my hand and a little move sent two guards to the door's room. The Head of the French delegation is now red hot turning to McCain he asked "Are we hostage here?". Sen McCain sat down and relaxing he couldn't help "Come on, we invited you, this conversation is a little direct but good friends can tell each other the truth, can't they? You can leave this meeting anytime you like". The security guards open the doors and I had guessed the meeting was over leaving me to find a car to return to Hendaye.
