Not much so far but it should start to pick up again soon, just the Netherlands January the 10th, head start with "The Netherlands continues to pay great attention to the protection of the rights of the Frisian minority and provides considerable support to the activities of this community. Frisian language education has significantly improved in recent years although the lack of qualified Frisian language teachers remains a concern among the Frisian minority.
The new law on the use of the Frisian language, which declares Frisian to be the second nationallanguage of the Netherlands, will give an important stimulus to the use of Frisian in legal andadministrative matters. However, there are reservations among the representatives of the Frisian minority as regards the future administrative reform which might weaken the position of the Frisianlanguage, culture and identity if mergers of the Northern municipalities and provinces areimplemented."
It hasn't been discussed yet but there is the widespread feeling among the Native Nations places under French administration that among the untold goals of a similar reform are, weaken further these nations, compromised further their chances should they they win the court battle about their rights to recover, make impossible to demonstrate how the French state corrupted and destroyed so many lives and the future livelihood of their Lands. So the question remains who is checking it out with the Frisian Reps?
