I don't know... what was worse Stalin's brutality towards the Ukrainian peasants and the great famine or the Don decossackisation, clearly both were decimated.
Now it is difficult to know exactly it has been a long time since I was able to talk to him. Retain that honour the Novocherssack victims belongs more to the tool box of someone trying to heal a tortured nation's passed than it does to the Soviet orthodoxy.
