Don't know. Recently Hugh said they were less than a year away of nationalising the entire banking system... given these new developments and if they r involved in the rigging of euribor, given the consequences, suddenly it crossed my mind that Hugh may know something we don't yet.
they'll be hammered if they try
No names yet but Reuters released not along ago that US prosecutors are closed to making arrests but very little out of EU Bodies as usual.... Credit Agricole is said to deny any wrong doing.
Enjoyed that bit. Hey, what' r u up to? m on to it... Mario keep repeating it wont happen but I won't bet it won't. The Finns are still to get the bill and when they r gonna find out... and look at the Nordics that said thanks but no thanks to the euro, they will run from it... It has ruined the Greeks, soon the Spaniards, next possibly the Italians and if unemployment keeps going up and it doesn't look good, to the economic woes u will have to add street violence eventually political violence specially in France where the spoliation of the Corsicans, Euskadi and others may increase to pay off for the paris insane spending and that won't fly very well I m afraid. So, the euro can go down the drain.
So....! Mr Jouyet..., what is your understanding of the french banking and financial market regulatory body. I am eager to know... I know that the consumer protection of numerous french banking malpratices, abusive fees, abusive sale of dirty products and questionable securities to the vulnerable ederly as well as the general public has not been a top priority to say the least... BUT...., with now a world wide ongoing investigation on Libor and Euribor dirty fixing and Socgen as well as Credit Agricole traders possible involvement and the lack of interest for the strange paris practices of the CAC40 manipulations, I would appreciate you to explain me what have you been doing, junky face!

BOUTON! TO MY DESK and I MEAN NOW!

So Mr Bouton! I have carefully listened to your testimony in court little jerk and I now learned that it wasn't just Kerviel that was an incredible dissembler but the bunch of traders involved in the euribor fixing also were I bet.... Mr Bouton, have ever along your career recruited anyone who wasn't an incredible dissembler at the bank while you were the CEO. Mr Bouton, am I going to learn with the ongoing investigation into the euribor fixing scandal that once more, involved in the wrong doing the bank was but you didn't know.... BOUTON, do you pray often? I recommend you do because if after pretending in Court you didnt have the slightest clue of what Kerviel was doing you also didn't have the slightest clue of what was going on at the trading desk with the euribor, well, may be you didn't have the slightest clue of what was going on in the bank, may be you were not the SocGen CEO, were you?

JOUYET! TO MY DESK, you are next little jerk!

And.... I want to find out their motivations, I want to understand the mixed bag of embarrasment, interests, shame, fear, hidden deals and how it is articulated that leads to the lack of open minded debate on these matters.
Hey i know you u jump to conclusions after ten words....
U know I feel like telling ok come on, come on,  tell me, please, tell me your deepest thoughts, why none of you feel these nations have paid already too much, the consequences have not been studied enough and it is part of the guilty negligence of the french state towards these nations but even so, u can't ignore some self-destructive behaviour and or violence associated are directly linked to these policies, what does explain you are not interested in justice for these populations that after all you want to count as citizens of France?
What's your opinion then? No but i expect cowardness to come first but well sure I could have bet on that and win but it is short. Truly I want to undertsnad what's in their mind.
Not really, it is just I want to understand why they r like that. I want to understand why all people that are successful and can afford to say, look I don't want to be silent anymore. Nobody is getting killed by guns with these policies but it is damaging people and not powerful people and that makes it unacceptable.
that side of the trade but light not to say very light. looking forward to the 4th
The lack of conversation, debate and/or interest from the Press on the consequences on, both the social relations within the nation, the outside and the individual spiritual well being of these nations, of the policies to restrain the use of native language, to celebrate the culture, keep alive the cultural creation as well as the inability of french officials to be at ease with these questions reveal WHAT?
Meaning the lack of is rather it doesn't happen, it is considered inappropriate.... it is easy to understand how such a situation can be embarrassing for people involved as it questioned their personal stand in a country that so far has been unable to help people to be at ease with these matters. For the Press and opinion leaders it is more questionable. Their reaction are awkward, generally speaking, out of context leaving you under the impression the individual well being of these populations is secondary, of no great importance which add to the sentiment of gross negligence and make you feel very uncomfortable when fuses critics and mockery of these populations, it can be violence for Corsica or Euskadi, it will be education, faith and backward looking for Breizh.
More or less but it applies to Corsica, Euskadi, Breizh and a few others. Something crossed my mind today earlier, trying to think of it.

u rewrite it and choose how it is best layed out. I don't mind it is just easier sometime to use I to share the concern.
Would like to add, "why can't I be working in school on my ancestry's readings, wouldn't it help me understand who they were and who I am? As a result of wars, my ancestry lost the right to self government and I lost the right to a state on my land and a government of our own, why the state today governing my nation needs to perpetuate the humiliation by imposing restrictions on the use of our language, by refusing to honor our culture and celebrate our heritage?"
Yes it is. It is the most common argument u'll encounter. "French people of any social standing looked at the Breton language as baragouin. It was (and still is) very easy for Bretons to get the idea that Breton is a "little language" of the "past," not worth the effort of learning. In speaking of the teaching of regional languages in French schools, a Professor at the University of Paris III in 1975 questions " … is it wise or opportune to urge little French children towards a bi- or trilingualism turned not toward the future of the planet, but towards the past of a little country?"
Has hardly been questioned so far the consequences on the spirit of the nation, who are you if your native language or your ancestry native language is a "baraguoin", a little language not worth learning, what does it say of your heritage, what does it say about the soul, heart and mind of your ancestry, why were they so little, so insignificant than nothing of what made everything they were has deserved to survive and what have been the consequences of the answers to these questions on yesterday and today's generations?
The french state ought to be held responsible but this conversation which should be taking place is very difficult as the reaction to it from french opinion leaders, the Press, as well as politicians are most of the time rather weird to say the least.
I'd say despite being it 8 years old, it does offer a good understanding of the social abouts, it doesn't answer about hearts and minds of the youngest generation nor what can be the outcome, capitulation, radicalisation, violence. To some extent, self destruction rather radicalisation has prevailed for the previous generations, the EU charter introduced very powerfully a different view praising the heritage for a nation without a state and knowledge of the disastrous consequences on future generations to not honor the heritage, speak the language and celebrate the sense of belonging has made a lot of progress. I just don't know if there is a more up to date publication.
