I disagree with that view... Islam is a society project and in that regard may be not when it comes to tolerance very different from Christianity before the Reform. Post Reform Christian values have guided the Founding Fathers and are even today at the core of US society and to compare Islam core values are at the heart of Saudi Arabia's society.
