Fatou Bensouda, Prosecutor at the ICC, says Malian forces may have committed abuses in recent days, in central Mali.
"I remind all parties to the on-going conflict in Mali that my Office has jurisdiction over all serious crimes committed within the territory of Mali, from January 2012 onwards," she warned. "All those alleged to be responsible for serious crimes in Mali must be held accountable"

The International Criminal Court (ICC) has decided to open investigations into crimes under international law committed in Mali.
.../...Once again, Amnesty International urges the ICC Prosecutor to fully investigate crimes committed by all sides across the country.
``Although much attention is focused on the situation in northern Mali, it’s crucial that the ICC looks at the full scope of alleged crimes across the country, including those carried out by Malian security forces,” said Rigaud.
Since the beginning of the armed conflict in northern Mali in January 2012, Amnesty International has documented crimes under international law committed by all the parties to the conflict.../...

Well no but u know the French in one two generations they will go after the Corsicans , Euskadi, Breizh, name all the native nations under French administration and they will say well you guys were involved in a war in Mali and u covered up exaction of the Malian Army in 2012/13... U bear full responsibility for all French decisions... That's why you have a lot of people that say we want nothing to do with that.

India TV News :
Sevare, Mali,Jan 29: As French and Malian soldiers held control of the fabled desert city of Timbuktu following the retreat of Islamist extremists, Tuareg fighters claimed on Tuesday that they seized the strategic city of Kidal and other northern towns.
The National Movement for the Liberation of Azawad, the Tuareg group’s name for northern Mali, appears to have taken advantage of a French-led bombing and ground campaign to dislodge al-Qaeda-linked Islamist fighters from the towns in northern Mali.
Phone lines were down in Kidal, making it difficult to independently confirm the group’s claim.
The Tuareg movement said on its website that it was ready to work with French troops and fight terror organizations.
It said it “decided to retake these localities with all urgency to assure the security of the belongings, and more particularly of people, because of the grave danger their lives faced with the return of the Malian army, marching in the footsteps of the French Army.

Revealed: how French raid killed 12 Malian villagers (Witnesses describe the moment civilians fell victim to a helicopter attack)
Expected from the French Armed Forces, an official inquiry into the incident although at this hour there is no comment from French officials.
The usual tune about the solution cannot be only found through military action, a political solution is more than necessary has failed so far to find musicians in the North Mali "Serval" operation. For the record it is urgent for the UN (UN Commandment n°10 .... In case of emergency, hang up and dial....) to quickly put together a resolution addressing the minorities rights in Mali. The conflict for culture rights has fueled and fed the rise of Al Qaida affiliated groups in the region and failures to, as towns and areas are freed from terrorists groups, restore and organize appeased relationship between reasonable tribal leaders or communities leaders will further compromise the future, rooting further revenge appeals on all sides.

Not a good topic... anyway. Even if I admit that if some accusations of torture ordered by President Hollande start to fly unchecked, I can't promise I won't smile. Very mean spirited but guess what that's no news right. Do u agree on weapons with my view or u thought of something that could make a difference.

Not really, was just wondering what makes you think there could be some support of the highest office for an anti Second Amend agenda if the true statistic situation shows the right to bear arms plays no role or very little in most of the gun related violence tragedies?
At a time where after a terrible event, Congress is asked to look at what can be done, is it the normal course to first before trying to answer the question, try to find what the question is? I lean there. Including the NRA, who want an Amendment of the cherished Bill of Rights to be an accessory to commit a crime? I'd say no one and surely not the NRA. If a piece of legislation can be of any help, wouldn't you agree that it must be addressing the core of the weapons involved in the greater number of crimes and incidents and knowing if these weapons have an illegal origin or if the Second Amendment has turned against the People and the will of the Founding Fathers, to be the first question to answer without any back minded political agenda whether to support or fight against the right to bear arms?
If most of the weapons involved have been acquired and or detained through arm trafficking, smuggling or stolen, what good to expect from any good will legislation addressing the legal circuit of distribution, the legal conditions of acquisition and detention?
See, I'd think I'd say that right now unless you have a better argument.

I don't know about that but it would be very interesting to have the true numbers from the police, in all gun related violence for each category of indictment what is the percentage of legally detained weapons involved verses illegally acquired or detained. From there, knowing that regardless of the true, genuine and sincere desire to fight tragic events such as Newtown, whatever piece of legislation can be adopted it will only affect the law abiding citizen and if the numbers show that there is an overwhelming majority of illegally detained weapons involved in each category of indictment, well the NRA is right and despite the politics that surround this debate and whatever opinions some may have of the NRA, of hunting or sport shooting people, the NRA should be closely associated in the search of common sense solutions to help the lawful gun owners at making sure their weapons and ammunition are secured. Detention and use of illegal weapons in crime and violence is a police and border control problem that no legislation will help?
Right now I'd like to know the numbers and it is my opinion if, and I expect the numbers to show that, the fraction of legally acquired and detained weapons use by their owners or family in gun related violence is rather small.
What's yours?

It would be a change of nature. The only argument I understand about it is can you by law organize rarefaction enough to reduce opportunity gun related violence? I just don't know but one thing you can be sure of is it won't stop the random killing man on a mission as many events of that type has proved that these guys have planned their rampage and u may succeed at making their life a little more complicated but ultimately... Colorado's flat was full of chemicals and despite surveillance of certain sales well...Norway has very strict gun laws, it didn't stop the guy and French laws didn't do any better. Gun free zones have only one effect as far as I know, reduce drastically crime and law violations reporting in fear of retaliation. Learning and understand what trigger these events may help at trying to prevent them but even if you don't like it the NRA argument that schools should be protected make sense. How do you want by law control mental heath in a free society....? I m listening.
:-))) u got to be kidding me... I mean seriously there are only two people that have really something at stake in the gun debate, the President and the NRA, a little more if you count NRA members I guess. But I don't get your point. What surprise me the most to be honest is that the Bill of Rights was not sooner much more challenged than it has been. It held strong for over two hundred years thank you to a great citizenry and that citizenry has been challenged more than ever, opponents to the Constitution know that it is a mason work, remove or weaken any piece of the carpentry and you will threat the entire building. The President can't be happy to have seen these ugly outburst of violence on his watch whether or not something can be done, everybody wished to have the power to prevent these to happen but no one has and looking at gun free zones throughout the world, it is not pretty, starting with France and Norway showing how much gun free zones are just like a chicken run... for a fox.
Now I m listening, go ahead but if it is to play the same tune I already heard, guess what...

FT reports "But between now and 2020, all 374 tonnes of gold bars, each one weighing 12.5kg, stored at the Banque de France will have been moved – probably by truck – to their new home in the vaults below the Bundesbank's grey 1960s office block in an unfashionable corner of Frankfurt."
But French authorities have made no comment so far so, http://www.cnbc.com/id/100386745 .
Not much, some Rio Tinto, what are you after anyway?

Haaretz Report: 34 hostages and 15 kidnappers killed by Algerian army airstrike :
Thirty-four hostages and 14 of their al Qaeda-linked kidnappers were killed on Thursday in an air strike by the Algerian armed forces, Mauritania's ANI news agency reported, citing one of the kidnappers holding captives at a desert gas field.
It was not immediately possible to independently verify the information from the agency, which has close contact with the group which has claimed responsibility for the mass kidnapping.

Three people, among them one British and one French, were reported killed, but details were sketchy and numbers of those held at Tigantourine ranged from 41 foreigners - including perhaps seven Americans as well as Japanese and Europeans - to over 100 local staff, held separately and less closely watched.

It was 20,000 acres of land. Precisely the letter says, "The state of Georgia has given 20,000 acres of land to the Count d'Estaing. This gift is considered very honourable to him, and it has gratified him much. I am persuaded that a gift of lands by the state of Virginia to the Marquis de la Fayette would give a good opinion here of our character, and would reflect honour on the marquis. Nor am I sure that the day will not come when it might be an useful asylum to him."
That's why he said that it wasn't understandable for Depardieu to collect a Russian passport had the Count's descent shown a little more of solidarity....
U don't always get his sense of humour that's all.

That's why I reached a long time ago the conclusion a state cannot marry anybody whatsoever. Now, does it mean that two people that choose a civil union or state marriage have nothing more in common than legal relations, no, not necessarily but the state doesn't not provide any further than legality.
Can we agree on that?
Can we agree on that?
You can't disagree with that, can you? If two people want to give their relationship another dimension than just their mutual legal obligations, they will find out that they have to turn to Churches. Can you answer with the help of the state legal framework prose what is the the true meaning of marriage?
M not sure I know that the French taxpayers are in for abortion whether or not they disagree... they are forced to participate regardless of their opinions but I don't know if the taxpayer is funding through taxes artificial methods of procreation regardless of his or her opinions and situation and the involved couple's wealth but I would say yes?

The entry into force was on April 1st 2005 but as you can see here the French haven't done anything, they haven't even signed it as they are still engaged in policies to undermine these minorities culture, languages, interests and individuals....

There is for now from the Press little interest or questions as to why the French politicians are engaged in a fight against these Human Rights and more specifically against the Protocol No. 12 to the Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms CETS No.: 177 or the newly proposed additional protocol.

No, I understand why you don't get it but right now they can't do anything... There isn't a court they can turned to... and it leads to some Corsicans saying if the French state is unable to provide a healthy economy framework for the Corsican economy to provide a job, a career and a decent life for every Corsican regardless of his or her choice to reject French culture, it is time for the French to leave and you will find these ideas in several parts of the Lands the French have under administration. The EU Assembly on November 2011 "Considering the precarious situation of numerous national minority groups in Europe, the Assembly considers that it is time to reconsider its previous proposal concerning the adoption of an additional protocol to the European Convention on Human Rights, which could reinforce the standing of national minorities, both individuals and/or groups, before the European Court of Human Rights and provide them substantive and justiciable rights."
As soon as the protocol will be adopted, every individual the French state targets for his or her choice to celebrate his or her language and culture or has been deprived of the same rights will be able to turn to the European Court and if anything can play a major role in diminishing violence, this additional protocol will prove to be a major milestone. What is stunning to me, apparently the French are fighting the move and there is very little interest shown by any French political party...
