Cotton - Prices are in US cents per Pound for Upland cotton (Spot).
May 1995 : 115.85 December 2010 : 168.24 (Inflation : 100 1995 worth 143.08 2010)
Clearly, anyone will be able to find out about the most recent headlines about some drastic raises of the cotton as well as most commodities are just....?, let's put it that way, a strange short view preferred political self interest motivated?
Now, I guess, can someone with some memory of that period, Art?, could remind us of the market conditions around the 1995 cotton peak?
