I don't know anything u like to say about it? To me, on top of what I already said ... it looks to me like a replay slightly modernized of Peppone (he's the mayor of a village and has an anti clerical bias - today would be a member of moveon.org I guess) and Don Camillo (he's the Roman Catholic priest of the village) fighting to win hearts and minds, Peppone calling his legally binding contract a "marriage" to piss off Don Camillo.... and Don Camillo enraged at the idea Peppone dare celebrating faked "marriages".... :-))))
