These are accusations that can't be made just for fun or shouldn't anyway that's what i meant. Nonetheless, when associated (some recent and not so recent policies of the french state in these territories) with the failure to ratify the EU Charter for Regional and Minority Languages and a total lack of protection and promotion of the small nations heritage, language, culture and interests, no doubt these groups or minorities face a lot of headwinds. Now, jumping to the conclusion is always the tough job. But if you top it up with a map of economic interests, clearly there is room for some legitimate claims to pretend the french state is engaged in dirty policies and if associated with state sponsored violence towards the same ethnies, it should be possible to make the case.
